Last Film You Watched

Exactly. It's not a bad thing that it's not accurate. It's a movie not a documentary.

Very decent movie.

It was a bit heavy on the symbolism but was still a brilliant war film.

I expected a gritty, hard hitting and emotional 'Based on a true story' war film and got one.

Plus this had much closer historical accuracy than Bravehart did. Most weren't bothered by that.

The only bit I didn't like was:

When he was dragging Vince Vaughan off the battlefield and Vaughan was picking off Japanese soldiers. Looked daft

It's about 3 black women who worked on the launch of John Glenn in to orbit, when the space race was in full force. One was an engineer, one a supervisor who got the first IBM computer working and one was an absolute brilliant mathematician. It shows the segregation, even at NASA. The mathematician character had to walk half a mile to go to the "coloured" bathroom.

Cheers, I was going to go and see the film - " Gold " this week, but this sounds much better ;)
