Last Film You Watched

I only have basic and only really got that for the internet but it gives me something to watch when nothing is on

Watched Absolutely Fabulous with my other half last night........

You were right to, but that's exactly what made him brilliant, Gylenhall really knocked me out with his performance in this.

What have I seen lately...

The Gauntlet (1977) I had fond memories of this one. Watching this again, I'd have to say, what were they smoking? The actions within this film are so time worn you'd be locked up for suggesting such a film today. Within minutes Eastwood is drink driving and giving a woman a good smack in the mouth. Followed by card board cut out character after card board cut out character and insanely nonsensical plot which basically involves throwing thousands of police at strategic plot points with more ammunition than sense. Eastwood's worst film in his darkest period? Probably.

Terminator Genysis (2015) Horrifying. That you'd give Jai Courtney and Jason Clarke lead billing in anything has me baffled. And the plot. I don't understand it at all in the context of the other films. They've Highlander'd this franchise hard.

If you change 'Probably' to 'Without a shadow of a doubt' I would agree.

Yeah, if you already have box sets then they give you 13.99 credit for a movie. I didn't fancy anything on there at the moment.

Decent.

Really liked that film.

...got a voucher off Sky for a free film purchase. The choices were limited, went for one called Shallow about a girl stuck on a rock being hunted by a shark. It passed a couple of hours but I'm glad I didn't pay for it.

Its just a vehicle for the girl to show her body

Its 'The Shallows' - lasts a mere 86 minutes and is a perfectly fine stripped back thriller

I wont spoil it for anyone, but there were also so many inconsistencies...i also dont really rate the actress so a bit of a letdown.

Should have made it into some kind of comedy.

Watched Good Will Hunting again last night.... great film imo.
