Last Film You Watched

Watched Gary Numan: Android in La La Land which was pretty much an extended promo for his album Splinter. That aside it is an interesting portrait of the man who comes across as a thoroughly nice guy. He talks candidly about his mental health issues and how he fell out with his Mum and Dad amongst other things. I love 80s synth pop but Gary Numan was never a particular favourite- I really enjoyed this film so, if you are a fan, you will love it.

Watched The Big Short yesterday, not bad. About the collapse of the US housing/mortgage market and how a few predicted it and made billions by betting against the market.

Captains Phillips. Intense film, enjoyed it but didn't love it. 6/10 worth a watch.
There's a Danish film called A Hijacking, it's ok, moderately tense, but what's weird is that the filmmaker had a friend who was a real life hostage negotiator, so he just got his mate to be himself in the film. So his 'acting', or lack of, really sticks out like a sore thumb.
