Good and sad.

This was on Film4 last night, so it'll be repeated - Wyrmwood Road of the Dead.

Excellent low budget Aussie Zombie film.

Mad Max meets Dawn of the Dead sums it up perfectly.

Some tremendous ultra black comedy in it too.
Got it stored, didn't know what it'd be like.
Will give it a watch.

If you want a bit of low budget horror, check this out..also from down under, New Zealand's very own Peter Jackson

His very first feature film no less, and so bad it's brilliant.

'Dead Alive' or 'Brain Dead' as it's known in the UK is another Peter Jackson classic in the same vein, although not quite as good .

Watched 'The siege at Jodotville' last night. Give it a miss.

I've not seen Brain Dead, wasn't that one of the influences for Shaun of the dead? Sure i read that somewhere.
It's defo going on my to watch list.

Haven't seen shaun of the dead, and never will watch it, I'm afraid. Pegg & frost annoy me to the point of murderous intent.

Brain dead's a bit easier on the special effects, but still the same sort of humour & great semi-professional acting ability. (Which is still miles better than the other two talentless gimps)

Watched the Return of the Pink Panther last night. Don't think I had seen since I was little but just loved it, absolutely anarchic fun.

Saw Siege of Jadotville two weeks ago just like yer man above, yeah it wasn't brilliant. Funniest bit was Mark Strong giving up on a fake Irish accent halfway through the film.
