That's rubbish for you as you seem to be an energetic person so you must be frustrated.
Hope & pray that you get sorted eventually & get your energy & good health back. xx
Stay positive Gwlad.

Is that shorthand for smartar$e?

Yeah, it's frustrating...I'm confident regarding a transplant as I don't have any a-typical things going on (blood type/antigen levels, unassociated health issues) that will hamper the expediancy of receiving one but the day-to-day nonsense of CKD/ESRD life and it's limitations are finally wearing on me after almost 2 years after my diagnosis. 😞

At least I have Carlos offering you dental coitus to tickle my funny button... 🤣

Only God Forgives. I never walk out of the cinema but this was the closest I’ve ever been.
I had to Google this:
"Julian, a criminal outlaw who runs a boxing school in Bangkok, is in a turmoil when his mother impels him to find and seek revenge on the person responsible for his brother's death"

Sounds like an Alan Partirdge idea for a new film. What on earth posessed you to go and see it?

'Hudson Hawk' got a mention the other day. A self basting turkey if ever there was.
There's plenty in the coppola canon that need erasing.
'Space truckers' is as bad as the title suggests.
'The blair witch project' was a one note effort, it capitalised on the new viral advertising the internet allowed, but it was rather ordinary. The sequels are criminal. All of them.
'Jaws: The revenge' was a cash grab abomination that finally dragged the corpse of the original into the depths.
Everything in steven seagal's portfolio except 'under siege'. Acts like he's 99% drowned.

Got me thinking about movie greats, De Niro will go into history as legend, but I'll remember him from 'Rocky and Bullwinkle'. So then I jumped to actors that have never made a turkey, and DDL comes to the fore, but I hated 'gangs of new york', it is nonsense.

To run a parallel, there's some angst (and rightly so) about evening games and how once such a fixture was a rare night game treat... well Bogart never got to lather off dross after crud because the studios didn't operate like that then, whereas now movie stars* can be in multiple films yearly so the chances of being involved in bad rubbish is a lot greater. The recent covid production line of sub standard efforts showed up that any old spite* will do, because the thirst for the new is greater than the thirst for quality.

Pick a film star, find their best and worst work. Suddenly the business shines before the art does. Can only bargain away credibility once.

Firstly that isn't exactly a wild storyline for a film. Basically it's a gangland revenge film, just an awful one.

Secondly it was Nicolas Winding Refn's next film after Drive which was great.

Thirdly Ryan Gosling is pretty much good in anything he does but even he can't save this.
