Christopher Lee said that this was his best ever performance, so I had to watch it. It's a good movie, but I'd like it even more if there was more Christopher Lee in it. 7/10

I don't think an exact representation of the legal system was the intention, the rights and wrongs of the verdict are irrelevant. It's more about society, groupthink and how prejudice impacts everyday decisions and how you view the world

It`s very good, if you like a gentle, very well acted film, that`s about nothing more that two old friends falling out over nothing.

I thought they were great in In Bruges
That's not completely true, I think it's allegorical. The Irish Civil War happening on the mainland isn't just a setting, it's a macrocosm of the story taking place on the island
Just watched Conclave …. Thought it was brilliant
40 minutes into the black phone. Gets some solid reviews even though here was dismissive. I'm a really picky so-and-so, and I can't get past south park...

Watching The Devil’s Advocate ….. love this film
Definitely a favourite. Al Pacino has made some great rubbish films - see also Any Given Sunday.

For my money, it's easily one of the best scripts and movies ever made. Watched the play last year in the Bord Gais Energy Theatre in Dublin and it was class
