The Gorge on Apple TV. Had been looking forward to this, and actively hated it.

Tonally all over the place, the first half switching between military mystery, romantic comedy and thriller, and then the 2nd half turns into a CGI-filled, Resident Evil, video game monstrosity.

When the exposition dump lands via a video the main characters watch, I wanted to punch the telly, and I was watching the clock for the last 40 minutes, willing it to be over.

I could write 10,000 words on all the things I hated about this, but I’ll just say…

Dreadful.

Some rocks I think, don’t worry he’s got a cutting implement but you have to suffer far too long before he gets to actually use it.

Hadn’t seen the trailer, just read something about it a while ago. Try to avoid trailers now as they tend to give away massive plot points or twists etc.

True although I contend 9/10 trailers leave you with enough to make an informed decision as to hit/miss

Watched Flight Risk last night. I knew Mark Wahlberg was a terrible actor going in, but it gave me great satisfaction that I’d watched it for free when I found out Mel Gibson directed it and it was absolutely embarrassing. A pathetic pair of trump supporters involved with one of the worst movies I’ve seen.
