Last Film You Watched

Watched a film called 'Robot and Frank' last night. A bit slow, and quite strange, but ultimately quite enjoyable. Quite sad at the end too.

I particularly liked that it was set 'in the near future', allowing them to bring in some techy stuff, but make it still feel like a modern-day film.

Loved Robot & Frank, smashing film, had to have a proper man cough at the end.

Just had a Clint Eastwood channel up for the weekend on Sky over here, absolutely boss. All the Dirty Harry movies, Whistle Dixie, Unforgiven amongst others so far. Ace.

That would be me properly locked in the house all weekend with Dominoes on speed-dial. It's probably a good thing I don't have Sky.

Watched Brazil on a blu-ray last night, still a great film but not the best transfer sadly.

Back to the future and return of the Jedi yesterday, two quality films watched with my lad who luckily for me has the same traits as me when I was a kid and wants a Delorean and a Millennium Falcon. Can't afford the Delorean but I can certainly get him the Falcon and maybe throw in a AT-AT which i always wanted as a kid. The joys of re living my youth with my son is always a joyous occasion.

Godzilla & X-Men DOFP both very disappointing imo.

I am hearing good thing about Edge of Tomorrow, though..

Taken is ace.

Taken 2 is not so, but I thought better than reviews gave it.

Yup, Taken is seriously kick-ass.

"Unknown" is great, too - much better than the reviews.

Finally saw django unchained the other night. Really enjoyed it, typical tarantino film. Not as good as inglorious bastards though.

Watched back to the future part 2 yesterday. Such a great sequel. DDon't think they are the best films ever made but I like the way it is done.

Just need to sit and watch the man with the iron fists now.

American Hustle, The Wolf of Wall Street & Rescue Dawn.

All excellent films although the totally unwarranted hatchet job they did on Eugene De Bruin in the latter one leaves a bit of a bad taste.
