Elysium...seen it last night for the first time...one a dem I'd been meaning to see for ages.

De Niro is totally soiling his Rep with every film he's made in the last few years, he's a long long way from Goodfella's or Cape Fear these days.
Silver lining play book is the last decent film he was in, the rest have been awful. He seems content to do bad comedies these days.

I was going to say the exact same about SLP but could not be bothered editing it.
I think his best role is in Cape Fear, he's superb in that, and he's good in Heat aswell.

Maybe he should do more directing, The Good Shepherd was excellent,
Started watching Withnail and I last night...... Turned it off after 20 minutes as it was absolute pants...... Put on midnight express..... Which was fantastic.
I love Withnail and I, great movie that.
