Started watching American Hustle on the plane last week, switched it off after half an hour. Just couldn't get into it.
Return flight I watched that Robert Redford one where he is on a boat which was surprisingly good

Up...the Pixar film.

Probably my 7th or 8th watch. If you didn't cry during the photo album scene near the beginning, you don't have a soul. I cry every time...not ashamed at all...

Definitely.

Doesn't help that the old guy looks exactly like my grandad who passed away a couple of years ago.

As part of the build up to the world cup I watched this last night which has just had it's World premiere in Glasgow last week,

I thought it was absolutely fascinating even though football plays no part in the film.

It's a Julian Temple film about different aspect of life in Rio from the 70's up to today. Reminded me of City of God in places. The soundtrack is brilliant too.

It's on the iPlayer for the next 8 days if you want to watch it. Thoroughly recommended.

Liam Neeson as a Federal Air Marshall.

Plane gets hijacked. Neeson gets the blame. Blah blah blah.

Low budget nonsense.

Pretty awful. Yet gripping as you wonder how he's going to get out of it.

Wouldn't watch again.

Just watched Godzilla... hmmm
started fine. Was ok, my son loved it but he thinks Call of duty black ops 2 is the greatest video game ever.

It's got pretty good reviews on IMDB and they're really harsh usually.

Wicker Man. Haven't seen it since me teens, still very unsettling. Great soundtrack, and Britt Eckland, phwoar..... terrible accent though.

TV3. One of those films I've meant to get round to seeing and haven't. Really glad I did.
