Last Film You Watched

Well it's only an hour and a half long like, so it's a short one, but I know what you mean. It's definitely interesting as there's a lot of DNA in there, obviously for the 80s version, but I could see influences on Scorsese, there's a few good one liners too. As with a lot of 30s films the acting is a bit theatrical, and pace and editing is very different from what we've become used to. Definitely worth a look if your interested in the history of American crime cinema, but doesn't hold up as well as White Heat.

I might well give that a look actually. Nice one.

White Heat is awesome. I was never really keen on Paul Muni's Scarface though.

The Fugitive (Harrison Ford) was a good action flick
...a guy who looked like Fellaini was in it

I watched Hell Boy II last night on the net. Great film if your into that sort of thing. It really works as it does'nt take itself to seriously. If you liked the first one, this is just as good. Really funny at times aswell.

As for City of god......Great film if you don't mind sub-titles. Well worth a watch.

life is cheap in Brazil...that was a brutal movie (damn good though)

Watched The Raid last night. Good if that's your sort of thing. No plot, just a bunch of lads kicking and punching each other. All very technically impressive, but I find these martial arts film quite tedious. Particularly the way they seem to queue up to get a kicking when they could easily all wade in together.
