Finally watched brokeback mountain. Beautiful film which raises questions about masculinity. Heath ledger in a fantastic performance. Great supporting cast and I loved Annie hathaway wigs

No Time To Die (2021)

This felt like the longest movie in the world... because it WAS the longest movie in the world. Dafuq is wrong with film makers today? Have they forgotten how to edit?

If you enjoyed recent Craig entries then you'll enjoy this. A high quality entry in the series, but let down by one of its weakest villians. They have humanized Bond which some will like but others like me will feel its takes away from the mystique of the character.

Ive never really been that fussed with Bond films but was amazed that Freddy Mercury was cast as the latest villain, like you say it was easily an hour and a bit too long

I was told that there's a scene where he's captured Bond, and he's torturing him to try get some information out of him...

Bond's about to crack, and then all of the sudden a guitarist walks out from behind the scenes and he starts singing: 'Under Pressure'.
And after he's finished with Bond, he starts singing: 'Another one bites the dust!'

I don't know if this information is reliable, or if my mate is having one at my expense.

S. Korean Pirates of the Caribbean.

Great fun, non stop action and not to be taken seriously.

Netflix.

The last duel. Really dull despite having a good cast. Interesting way of storytelling having 3 view points but the movie dragged on with little happening. Even the fight scenes were poor.

Morbius. Utterly predictable. If I hadn't taken my lad to the cinema I'd have walked out.

I just signed up Disney+ and HBO Go so hopefully I'll find some better stuff.

Finally got around to watching Midsommar last night.

What a load of plop.

It was like a feature long, very gruesome episode of Scooby Doo, involving a Swedish cult.

I was openly laughing by the end of it lol
