The Oliver Stone picture JFK.
Three and a half hours of it, but in two manageable segments.
Sure going to be some repercussions in 2028 when a great portion of the CIA and FBI files are released for public scrutiny. That's of course if moves aren't taken to keep them secret.
If you haven't seen the new Oliver Stone documentary.... JFK revisited Through The Looking Glass, I'd highly recommend. Made on the release of other secret service documents. Some very bizarre 'goings on'. Can't see O Stone being err .. around to make another one after the next release of files !!

Thanks for the heads up on this, didn't know about it. I go back to Stone's JFK at least once a year.

Also a nod to Donald Sutherland, in a movie full of excellent performances, he stole the show for me.

Seems right up my street. I'll be watching this. Thanks.

Bit the bullet and watched 'Don't look up' last night.

How they can assemble such a stellar cast and produce something that struggles to be even a 5/10 is a bit of a mystery.

So much crammed in for no reason. Arianna Grande character? The Ex military racist shuttle pilot, the skateboard guys? Most of the cast sleepwalked through their parts.

The exceptions were Mark Rylance as the unhinged tech boss and Cate Blanchet as the daytime TV host. (and smoking hot with it ha!)

Should have been better.
Should have been shorter.

Booo.

The bit where he was in the Bahamas reminded me alot of the books, I really liked that.

Casino > Spectre > No Time >>>>> Skyfall >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Quantum
I'm in a very small minority here but I quite liked Quantum... I think the fact it was well under 2hrs won me over, compared to the bloated running times of the other films. I also liked how it ran straight on from Casino Royale. I thought it was good that Mathieu Amalric's character was just a fairly unremarkable guy - as opposed to the typical pantomime villain, like when Javier Bardem dialled it up to 11.

Watched the latest Disney film Encanto yesterday, thought visually it was great but the story itself was a bit meh. Followed that by watching Godzilla King of the Monsters on Netflix, love me a big ol’ kaiju mash up, just a shame some of the human characters got in the way
