It being Christmastime in the USA, there's no escape from seeing It's a Wonderful Life at least once out of the 9,114 times it's shown on TV.

I'll forever be impressed by its message that in the absence of one single man, George Baily, the entire society of Bedford Falls unravels and the townsfolk become vicious and morally bankrupt.

It is the best Christmas film by a mile , wash your mouth out!
 
It was certainly good the first 100 times I saw it, but I've since begun to question the intelligence of any man who'd wish he'd never been born while married to Donna Reed.
Good point.
But the whole point of the film is how a good man like George who had some much to live for can become unhinged .

If horrible kids kept asking me inane questions and saying "daddy , daddy " in a terrible whiney American accent I'd go nuts too.
