Watched a couple of films over the weekend.
Parasite ..absolutely superb.
Dave Built a Maze…really quirky and funny in places,loved it.Yes it’s about a guy who builds a maze in his flat.

Saw the new Ghostbusters last night, I was expecting to hate it but I actually didn't, it was decent.

I'm not sure about the marshmallow bukakke on the young lad at the end though.

Trading Places. Watch it every year as part of the Chrimbo rotation but it was such a relief to watch an enjoyable movie after the run of stinkers I’ve been on.

The Power of the Dog

Incredibly loosely categorised as a Western (not sure riding a horse guarantees automatic entry into the genre)

I enjoyed it, but it washed over me without ever really grabbing me - Can't say I'll watch it again but good central performances from the 4 mains

For all people currently getting re-hooked onto the Beatles after seeing 'Get Back' - I'd recommend giving 'Across the Universe' a try

It's a musical using adapted versions of Beatles songs to tell the story - It's a bit hit and miss, but there are corking versions of 'minor' Beatles classics on there.

I'd even be bold enough to suggest that this version of 'Hold Me Tight' is better than the original (especially when it cuts to the Cavern sequence and it's a 'grungey' version

P.S - Try and ignore the terrible scouse accents

agreed. Power of the Dog was a bit meh.

Watched Lord of the Rings, Fellowship of the Ring (extended version) over the last two nights.
Such a good movie
