Most surprising movie of the year for me, similar to when I first watched Black Swan, as in I felt like I was being forced to watch Glee or something but the end result was a surprisingly satisfying experience.

I love expedition documentaries and this one was great. For anyone into this stuff, I can also recommend Free Solo, which is absolutely insane as well.

You're in for a treat mate, belter soundtrack and excellent performances from Taylor Joy and Matt Smith.
McKenzie is decent as well without really matching up to the other two.

Watched it last night as we do every year. It's absolutely outstanding in every way.

I tend to take issue if a movie is over 90 mins, unless it’s exceptional enough to justify such a run time.

Die Hard is 2h15m and genuinely seems to fly by every time I watch it. To keep up that pace for that long is extraordinary filmmaking.

And it’s boss.

The wife and I watched A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas or whatever its called. Forgot how funny it was in parts.

There's an adaptation of The Omen (narrated by Owen Teale) currently on Radio 4. Not bad at all, and in bite size 15 minute episodes, perfect for that restful sleep. lol

John McTiernan directed (released) Die Hard and Predator within 13 months. Can't think of many directors who can say they've topped that!
