Not a film as such, just watched The Night Manager over three nights on BBC. They get plenty of stick of late but can pull the odd one out of the bag.
Watched it first time around, thought it was really good and changed my opinion of Tom Hiddleston, as I always thought he was a bit of a perfumed ponce.
You're the Irish fella in the pub from Withnail & I aren't you?
Alternative take - Uncle Monty sometimes uses his acting skills to pretend to be a rough and ready working class labourer type and it is he who scrawled the graffiti in the pub bogs.Incorrect, I’m actually Uncle Monty

Haven't heard of that.Source Code is great if you're a Gyllenhaal fan. Also got Michelle Monaghan and Vera Farmiga in, who are both great.
Think its one of those movies that, the more you watch, the more you appreciate the attention to detail and when you do its borderline brilliant. But the fact it is so hard to follow is a big downside. I get that the viewer is meant to understand and work things out at the same pace as the Protagonist but I think things just happen too fast and would have benefitted from being slower paced with some dialogue hints like Inception had.Tenet. Was like a bad computer game script, didn’t have a clue what was going on but was also thoroughly enjoyable.
Will probably re-watch
Source code is a really good example of quality film making. Doesn’t try to cram in too much, keeps to a relatively simple narrative but is also tense and original and sticks with you after viewing.Haven't heard of that.
Thanks will look it up.
