Last Film You Watched

Watched Operation Crossbow, was on BBC2, old war film about an under cover operation to destroy V1 and V2 missile bases towards the end of the war.
Seems to have a bit of basis in real events or people, was ok.
Sophia Loren was in it, very attractive old Hollywood star, this is the first film I've ever seen her in,

The beauty of having a wife more than ten years younger than me is that there are SO MANY movies that she hasn't seen.

Yesterday we watched Labyrinth. Sure the special effects look a bit dated now, but Jim Henson's puppets are incredible and it's still a lovely film.

Next up is Gremlins. I cannot believe this, but she's never seen Gremlins.

Similar with me and my gf. We went to see Labrynth on a big screen in a club with lots of drinks and singing along! :o :D

Watched The Grinch (live action/Jim Carrey) last night, which we try to do every year. Only this time we made it a bit different by watching the TV version, which includes quite a few added scenes.

Netflix Crimbo block buster - Midnight Sky.

Worthy of the cinema, beautiful cinematography, great cast, well acted, but really won’t be for everyone, as it’s achingly slow in parts.

The earth is dying, virtually the whole population has left for other worlds and George Clooney plays a terminally ill scientist, who remains behind to warn a returning space ship that everyone else has left.

Strictly for fans of “ thinking sci - fi “

Really liked it,you could nit pick a couple of things in the plot if you were fussy but overall a very decent film,Clooney looked good even depicting the Wolves manager
