Yeh thought it might be a slog but the flirting between timelines helped it move along.

They arent my usual type of films,I call them popcorn movies,you can answer a phone call and you arent going to be confused because you missed some dialogue,you know hes killed some one and now hes going to do it again

The premise is brilliant:

Lovely wife dies of a terminal disease.
Leaves him a cute Beagle pup so he can feel again.
Nasty Russian monsters break in, best him up, kill his pup and steak his car.

So you immediately you’re on his side and want him to kill them all slowly.

Got round to watching The Devil All the Time and bloody loved it. Great ensemble cast, love films set in backwater southern America.

Tell you what, thought there’d be more violence in Marley & Me after seeing John Wick. Disappointed.

Got round to watching The Devil All the Time and bloody loved it. Great ensemble cast, love films set in backwater southern America.

Watched it too, excellent. Just a good old fashioned story and, like you, I am balls deep in anything set in the American south

Been to the cinema to watch Schemers, really enjoyed it. Scottish film, probably lowish budget, it's a true story about a gig promoter in Dundee circa 79/80.
Lad puts on some great bands, Rezillos, Specials....etc but gets into trouble and debt to gangsters who run the venues, it's really good story, well worth a watch if you like gigs.

Just watched Us for the second time, and enjoyed it even more than when I saw it when it first came out. Not many agree, but I think it's far superior to Get Out. Great use of I got 5 on It on the soundtrack.

Dark phoenix, starts good... The rest is utter pap, don't even know what's going on in xmen universe all so confusing, the complete Lack of humour doesn't help

Yeah shame really, the ending was alright as well... Just the middle hour or so was terrible lol

Thought that movie started out brilliantly and tailed off in the final third. I could see the twist coming from space

I gave up rating X-Men films long ago. Logan was outstanding because it thankfully is a separate timeline.
