Last Film You Watched

I’ve had a look at it and it sounds promising ?

Just about to start series 2 of Black Spot, which I’ve really enjoyed.

Dark and real leftfield, with black humour running through it.
I only asked because I watched a trailer,it looks like it could be worth a watch but looks badly dubbed

Watched a few films over last few days
The Visit, horror film about 2 kids who go and stay with grandparents and the whole week is proper bizzare, i thought it was more funny then horror, not too serious, few cheap frights, was ok, but mostly daft. Its filmed like Blair Witch, the kids filming themselves on holiday

Green Zone, @tommytowne mentioned this on here to me last week, good shout, enjoyed it, the whole WMD thing is interesting, one of my favourite films last year was Official Secrets, about a whitleblower on this subject, well worth a watch

Hateful Eight, this i was a bit disapointted with, hadn't seen it before, i just found it far too long for so few settings. Like its not easy to do a long film on limited location, 12 Angry Men nails it and Hitchcocks Lifeboat, was ok like but not in Tarantino's top 5

Danger close (battle of long tan')
Epic, picked it up for a fiver in Tesco...
Massively exceeded expectations
Quality film following the events of an Anzac company involved in a battle against overwhelming nva forces...
Think Aussie we were soldiers

This could have been so good. An older Will Smith, coming to the end of his career as an assassin, aware that he is no longer at the top of his game and, for once, not so cock-sure of himself. It starts well enough but quickly loses its way. Exciting (if improbable) action scenes with far too much earnest discussion of what is the greater good. Ultimately, it's just not a very worthwhile story to tell ...
