Last Film You Watched

Watched Heat again yesterday, it's 2hr 50mins of absolute brilliance. Not once does that film feel like a slog, it's the perfect crime drama. The bank robbery scene/music is some of the most tense scenes i've seen in any film.

It's a great film, but my god Pacino does some overacting in it!

Not bad, but could’ve done with being 30 mins shorter,

Set slightly in the future, set in South Korea, where the economy has totally collapsed.

Four young lads rob an illegal gambling den in the hope of escaping their wretched lives and a hitman comes after them and then plays cat and mouse with them.

Think i recommended this one...whats your rating out of 10?

Well put together, but way too long at 2hrs 10mins.

Short (7 min) film by Jonathan Glazer. Masked gang/group get hold of a mask wearing individual and subject them to something nasty.

The mask thing is really good and it's stylishly shot. Very vague given it's a short and although at first I was thinking how brutal and horrible it was you then start wondering about the victim...could have been a nonce, murderer or pretty much anything. Or maybe an innocent victim of sheer brutality. Very open ending as well/

Deffo worth 7 minutes of your time if you like Glazer's stuff.

His best line in the film.

Was quite looking forward to this but for such a gripping story its a very flat film, lacks any real depth and somehow manages to miss some of the most compelling and tense parts of the event in favour of pointless conjecture. Wouldn't recommend unfortunately.
