Yes they do a good job there, the film has its own identity without straying too far from the original. The newer True Grit,I had avoided it due to liking the original, have to say Bridges was excellent, the girl was good and Matt Damons LeBeouf was a bit noncey, all in all not a bad remake
Dya reckon he’s rock hard in real life
Brad Pitt would take him in Snatch, no problem
Always wondered with these sorts of actors. Like obv the film’s are choreographed but he does martial arts anyway so wonder if he’d be able to proper wreck someone.
Come on mate.Brad Pitt would take him in Snatch, no problem
You got any nice pics for Carlos. From looking at his cv I’d say he was deffo a hard case
Nope in my thread.
This stuff about the US is simply not true:I liked it, but
The whole reason the mother died wasn't because of people with powers, or Psyke, or crime or anything sci-fi really. She died because she was poor and sick in America which is a pretty irritating thing to witness for people living with an actual 1st world healthcare system in the present, let alone future.
Tell the makers of the film that. This stuff about the US is simply not true:
Privately-owned hospitals may turn away patients in a non-emergency, but public hospitals cannot refuse care. Public hospitals, funded by taxpayer dollars, are held to a different standard than privately owned for-profit hospitals. This means that a public hospital is the best option for those without health insurance or the means to pay for care.
The Emergency Medical and Treatment Labor Act (EMTLA)
Public and private hospitals alike are prohibited by law from denying a patient care in an emergency. The Emergency Medical and Treatment Labor Act (EMTLA) passed by Congress in 1986 explicitly forbids the denial of care to indigent or uninsured patients based on a lack of ability to pay.
Right enough. It just amazes me how common the idea is that Americans literally leave folk to die on the street outside hospitals!Tell the makers of the film that.
