I thought it was Thai and the director Welsh but I'm not known for having a good memory. Swear I heard an interview with him once. Also think theres raid 2 as well

Watched it today.

Very good, but not as good as the first.

The first was raw and unpolished, the second obviously had a much bigger budget and is more polished / Hollywood.

Still very entertaining, with wild fight scenes and some brilliant car chases.

I’m a massive fan of the lad who plays Rama in the lead.

Are they both same director? Can't remember if I've seen both. Will add to list. I just found a load of films on Netflix from Japan and Korea so gonna try them first if I can ever get my son to bed

It didn't look overly my kind of thing but gave it a go due to it's very high ratings.

Really enjoyed it, the battle scenes are incredible. Apparently they actually built a castle and the burnt it instead of using props lol.

Headshot.

Not as good as the Raid films.

Spoilt by adding a love story into the mix.

I’ll say one thing though, the Indonesians do excel at producing films full of high grade violence.

Iko Uwais from memory...

Been in a couple of western made films as well...

Box office action star...
