Shawshank, right now I'm up to the bit where andy pipes the opera into the yard
Best film ever made bar none.
I have watched it at least 20 times and never, ever get bored with it.

My local Australian free to air played it yesterday. If you haven't watched 'Contagion' yet then give it a go.
The Parallels with what we are currently going through is amazing
and the film was made in 2011. Worth a watch for sure.
Totally agree my favourite film of all timeBest film ever made bar none.

Yeah sorry I was on about ROTJ, that "Noooo" when he picks up the emperor is so bad, I have no idea what Lucas was thinking.RotS is Revenge of the Sith. That horrible line is very much in the original.
You're referring to Lucas adding that same "nooooo!" to Vader deliberating between Emperor and Luke in Return of the Jedi. That was added to the bluray edition and latest dvd additions. It is one of the most disgraceful post-edit decisions in all of film history.
Fortunately i downloaded the Despecialized versions of the originals, so all is well with the world.

Ah yes, part of that scene!I wish I couldn't remember anything about TLJ personally.
It takes place right at the start of the movie when Poe flys his single X-Wing up to the First Order dreadnaught to buy time for the resistance (so far so good). He then patches through a message to Hux and has the most cringeworthy conversation in Star Wars history pretending that he can't hear Hux and demanding to get put through to him, his second in command says something like "I believe that he's........ tooling you sir!" In the second worst line in SW history. The "your momma" joke just caps the whole thing off. The scene feels like a family guy sketch but without any actual laughs. The whole scene and conversation is an utter embarrassment. Watch it on YouTube if you can stand the cringe.
At least the "Nooooooooooo" moment was somewhat believable. A guy who has just had his entire life destroyed, killed the love of his life, and thus his kid/s and left himself permanently scared and deformed and more machine then man might conceivably shout "no!" on realising all this.
There isn't a single adult human being, either living or dead who would ever of had the conversation that Poe and Hux had in TLJ because people don't talk like that in real life. It destroyed the credibility of Hux and Poe in one single scene. Hux so much so that he's replaced and killed by his replacement in the next film.
The thing is, they could have played that scene out so much better. The concept is good, but they ruined it by playing it for laughs. I maintain that many of the scenes that are most disliked it thefilm could be fixed with some simple edits/reshoots.Either;Ameen (2015)
A Thai action-drama that conveys a profound message in appreciation of the final Prophet of Islam, Muhammad (PBUH).
10/10

We really do need a sarcastic font on here

Right edgey and hip you mate.
Still the best post apocalypse movie ever IMO3 films in a row which are highly-rated but i found total pants: Nightcrawler, Ich Seh Ich Seh (Goodnight Mommy) and A Quiet Place.
All so bad we kept skipping forward to reduce the pain.
We're going retro tonight: Charlton Heston's Omega Man.
I enjoyed it but thought the brilliant music deserved a better scriptView attachment 83902
Just what you might expect from Richard Curtis. Good fun, good music and jokes that work work for a range of folks
I'd add the helicopter attack scene in Apocalypse Now to that list. And the Biggus Dickus scene from Life of BrianMy favourite scene to, along with the scene between Rutger Hauer and Harrison Ford in the original film with Ford's voice over behind it. Two great scenes, with two great soundtracks behind them.
