It's great fun. Sam Rockwell excelling, yet again.

The Mad Adventures of Rabbi Jacob. 70s comedy classic, in which a racist bigot eventually has to impersonate a rabbi in order to avoid the bad guys. It's a great example of how to properly set up a traditional farce, and also a good chance to see Louis de Funes - one of the great physical comedy performers - on top form.

Not quite on the level of in Bruges but still very good.

Loved that film haha it’s bonkers. Not really sure what was happening. Rockwell is just made for those unhinged roles.

Watched that Spencer confidential last night on Netflix.

Honestly not a bad watch. It's not the best film but it has it's funny moments and decent action for what type of film it is.

Plot sways more to the generic rather than unique but if you want to kill 2 hours , there are worse ways.

Vampire Lovers, with Ingrid Pitt, Madeline - I call mine 'pinky' and 'perky' - Smith amongst others, even peter cushing, but he wasnt really central to the plot.
The plot being all the girls get their kit off and get down to it

Puts the fawning chat shows of today in perspective.

Been going through a phase of watching old Dick Cavett interviews on youtube, the chat show format has changed so much. Perhaps more instantly gratifying but ultimately very forgettable

Watched this for the first time since I saw it on the cinema - Interstellar.

I still didn’t understand it !

Magnificent film though, proper scfi head bender and the special effects really are something else.

Thought this film was excellent. Superbly ambitious. Think it will be seen as something of a classic in 10-20 years
