2nd film of the day,have to say its a bit hit and miss,watchable but just felt like the best bits you seen in the trailers,for a film over two hours long it didnt tell you anything at all really

It is watchable Nymz,like you it was the trailers that caught my eye,but there isnt much else of substance beyond them,it just felt like a long film of not much

Was a really good film,Guy Pierce was excellent,in fact it was an almost perfect cast,followed it up with "The hunt"which was also very entertaining

Yeah remember it being a decent film. Saw your post about Ned Kelly and reminded me of it. Do you mean the hunt with mads mikkleson? That's a decent one too. I watched a few Oz crime films, snowtown, mystery road and Goldstone. Unfortunately I can't remember if they were any good

Watched True Romance last night. Fantastic film with a stellar cast. Didn't realise it was directed by Tony Scott and scored by Hans Zimmer until now

No the latest "Hunt"
I have seen Snowtown,other Aussie ones I have watched,Romper stomper,Bad boy Bubby,Mystery road,plus the Mad Max,Crocodile Dundee etc,theres a couple more but I cant remember them at the minute

Mystery Road is a brilliant film mate.

The lead in it - Jay Swann ( Aaron Pederson ) , is up there with the best anti heroes.

White Boy Day with Gary Oldman and the Sicilians with Dennis Hopper and Christopher Walken are peak Tarantino.

I watched Avengement the other night. British gangster revenge movie. Utterly brutal, I had to look away at one point. Well worth a watch it you like that sort of stuff.

Well, I saw Kilmer's name come up in the credits and hadn't noticed that before either (I've seen True Romance quite a bit over the years), so only established it was him yesterday too
