Dunno if mentioned in here, but good film on Netflix - The Decline.

French-Canadian film. Very simple. Really well made. A good “show, don’t tell” movie.

To Catch a Thief (1955)

Good little film. Not up there with Psycho, but Hitchcock clearly knew what he was doing in the 50s as well. 7/10

Told you haha. He can’t do any accent well at all.

This threw me too, I don't know if he was trying to do an accent as such, I watched some interview sessions about movie and he just seems to have a completely butchered accent that was once Geordie.

The original trilogy are excellent. Far more intelligent than any Bond film. I'd say Supremacy the best of the 3.

Not watched the Bourne Legacy (the Jeremy Renner spin off) since release but I don't remember it being much cop.

Jason Bourne (the latest Damon one) was OK at best. Too much "big action" for me.



Don't fear the reaper as the opening soundtrack, downhill from there.



McCarthy books are a really hard slog to read. Film is outstanding, and pretty much true to the book without the hassle of turning pages.

Got to disagree you with the bit about McCarthys books.

The Border Trilogy are absolutely beautiful books to to read.

In book one - All the Pretty Horses, there’s a passage where he describes cloud formations over two pages, which is close on poetic.
All three books are magnificent.

Then you have Blood Meridian, which is already being studied at degree level in the USA and is a recognised modern classic.

The Road is achingly bleak, but an incredibly powerful read.

It's like Ready or Not but sillier...getting done to death that type of movie now, Get Out started it and was good.

Just finished it. Yeh I’m not so sure about it really; it would have been better if if it was less of a comedy. I don’t think I’d recommend.
