Great. Lee J. Cobb is awesome as the bad guy (as always, he's probably my favorite actor of this era) and Brando was obviously good as well. 8/10

Near Dark a classic, liked Vampires to. Older 80's comedy called Vamp and its a bit dated now, but terrified the life out of me was the Stephen King two parter Salem's Lot.

Yeah Grace Jones is terrifying in Vamp

As is the original Let the Right One In, as it’s so much more than a vampire film.

I saw the uncut version at the Fact and the way the child is turned into a vampire stays with you for a long time after.

It’s fully understandable why it was cut out for general release.

Watched Blade Runner for the first time last night. Set in 2019 eh? I suppose one thing they got right is the Chinese influence.

I really really have a problem with this film. I thought it showed his life as being really dull. I was relieved when it ended. I realise I'm in a minority

Watched Blade Runner for the first time last night. Set in 2019 eh? I suppose one thing they got right is the Chinese influence.

One of my favourite Sc-fi's of all time, great cast and soundtrack, there is a documentary called Bladerunner, Strange Day's, tells the story of the behind the scenes mayhem that ensued, over an for months, arguments behind the scenes, thought it was almost as good as the film.

If you haven’t seen ‘The Last Waltz’ Then dig it out and watch it. It is a Martin Scorsese film that documents the last live concert of The Band, the guys who rose to fame as Bob Dylan’s backing group. But they backed hundreds of acts and huge numbers of them turned up for the concert, including Dylan, Eric Clapton, Van Morrison, Joni Mitchell, Muddy Waters, and many, many more. It features interviews with the bans members on their rock and roll lifestyle and it so enjoyable. Even if you aren’t into the music, it stands up as a documentary as well. Seriously good movie, and it features a line up that Band Aid would have killed for!

Na Not for me, Blade 1 and 2 both very good films btw, are really just action films, 30 Days is both action and suspense a very claustrophobic film. The setting for it is incredibly important. Know I'm not going to change your mind, but neither am I.
