What’s it about?

A young Aboriginal girl is found murdered near to a one horse Outback mining town.

A washed up Aboriginal detective is assigned to investigate it by himself (the authorities don`t care if it`s solved or not )

I won`t ruin it with the rest of the plot, but it`s a brilliant film, very dark, brilliant acting and the lad who plays the Aboriginal detective - Aaron Pederson has a real screen presence.

The film was so well received that the they made a tv series ( which I haven`t watched yet ) that was on BBC 4.

I can`t recommend it highly enough.

One of the BBC’s ab-original dramas I believe

Deadwood - The movie

One of the most emotional movies I've seen. It's obviously very good, but it also reminds me of what we could've gotten if they didn't cancel the show when these actors were in their primes, and I believe for sure that would've been even better. To me Deadwood is HBOs second best show ever behind Band of Brothers. Al Swearengen might be my favorite tv-series character ever. Gutted it's now over. 8/10

A modern day classic, 10/10.

Thora Birch was perfect in her role.
