Had some time to kill in Newcastle yesterday, so went to see Shazam. Really enjoyed it. Good fun, the kids were good, and Mark Strong was quality as usual.

Watched this the other night.
Very well acted, with a good script for a fight film, with a real human touch too.
Two estranged ex cage fighting brothers enter a winner takes all 5mil purse MMA contest.
Some of the best fight scenes I’ve ever seen.
Tom Hardy excels, as does Nick Nolte as the alcoholic father.
Watched this last night on Netflix, actually wasnt bad.

Watching Titfield Thunderbolt this afternoon, old Ealing comedy about a heritage railway, not bad, the thing i like best about it was the old steam train footage. Was a bit silly, not as good as the Lavender Hill mob or Ladykillers

Just watched it myself. A solid 6/10 film. Efron is very good in it. Just watched the Bundy docu series a little while ago and the film didn’t really bring anything new to the table. I was kinda hoping we’d get to see some glimpses of his monstrous persona, but I understand why they didn’t as I’m sure it would be very tough on the families of the murdered women.

I think the idea of was to show the manipulative side of bundy rather than his actual crimes coupled with the hold he had on his wife, hence the last scene which sort of released her from his grasp.
I haven’t seen the documentary but was going to give it a go

Yeah and they did that very well. Think I might’ve enjoyed it more if I hadn’t just watched the docus probably. And don’t misunderstand me, I didn’t want them to make it all about violence and murder, but maybe show him while stalking the women, while still leaving the actual gory stuff to our imaginations, if I can put it like that. I think that’d been quite effective.
Yeah I must admit I was expecting some of the stalking stuff myself. The one when he pretended to have a broken arm is quite synonymous. You’re right it may have just added to it a bit and just given it an extra push
Just watched Avengers Endgame. Not as good as IW, but I enjoyed it nonetheless, very climactic

Low budget, but great cast and well acted.
Set in future Britain. The majority of the population have been infected with a fungus that turns them into zombies.
The survivors and army desperately seek a vaccine from surviving children, that haven’t become zombies, but have the craving for flesh.
