The Sisters Brothers. I enjoyed the book and its humour. The film, however, was pretentious and rather ridiculous in my opinion. It's getting the hype treatment though.

Avengers: Endgame.

Absolutely brilliant. Will definitely go again.

Snappy dialogue, ("I get e-mails from a raccoon; nothing sounds crazy anymore")
Wonderfully paced, (three hours felt like 100 minutes - there wasn't an ounce of flab in there at all)
Clever plot - even the odd predictable bit here and there was carried beautifully by some incredibly strong individual acting
Character development was very well done: Hulk and Thor in particular.
The emotional range displayed by some was superb - Widow and Hawkeye's major scene in particular.

Particularly enjoyed the way the focus shifted onto some of the less major characters.

Only downside was Capt. Marvel's weird hair, but I'm bald so wtf do I know.

Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle

Silly,preposterous, implausible, and still lots of fun.
The world needs more movies like this.

A solid 7/10.

Loved that, it was great watching their little faces try and compute why their experiments werent coming up with the results they wanted and then just saying there must be something wrong. The endings great as well.

The end is brilliant, had a proper chuckle.

Finally got around to watching The Town after avoiding it because Ben Affleck is in it. Terrible acting by him in what is otherwise a brilliant film.

One of the great pete postlewaites last movies, so everyone should make the effort

Sean Bean does his best to do the accent and puts in a pretty good performance as a man for whom the secrecy needed for his job leads to a distancing from his family. Grieving for his father, and at the time when he needs them most, he finds that he has real problems being able to talk with his wife and teenage son. Not the time you would choose for details of your involvement with the security services to be leaked. A pretty slow moving but interesting enough film...

13 minutes The plot to assassinate Adolf Hitler.

Never seen it before, a tremendous movie.

Had it on the TiVo since Xmas, of course I’ve seen it before, but always a superb piece of entertainment. Les Grossman steals the show.

Avengers: Endgame. I tend to see most of the Marvel films, although I'm by no means a Marvel superfan. On balance, I think I preferred Infinity War (and possibly even Captain Marvel, which I thought was surprisingly enjoyable).
