If you like Gyllenhaal and very good films, Nocturnal Animals is a very worthy watch.

Unfriended (aka Unknown User): surprisingly tense & entertaining chiller, unique spin too. 8/10
The Haunting (1963): once you get past the age of the film (and it has aged) it still offers a spooky & unpredictable haunted-house. 7/10
Clash of the Titans (1981): one from my childhood...it's not aged well, still fairly entertaining and the Medusa scene is genuinely great, but not really worth watching today. 5/10 - hoping Jason & The Argonauts has survived the decades better when we get round to that!
Gattaca - awful, boring, stupid, boring. As a sci-fi fan this has been on my watchlist for almost 20 years. What a letdown. 2/10
Don't Look Now - weirdly-filmed, and seemingly dull & slow in places. But that ending! Elevates it to a solid 7/10.
The Interview - I was convinced I'd like this, turns out the humour was mostly too infantile. Couple of bright moments early on. 4/10.
Sinister - slow start but stick with it. 7/10

Sinister is a very good film, incredibly unsettling, which is a very hard thing to do now days and the criminally underrated Ethan Hawke is perfectly cast in the lead.
Worthy of more than a 7.
I've had The Martian recorded for a couple of months, and now and again suggest to my wife that we watch it. She has a pre conceived idea that it'll be a bit slow and boring. Is it?
Don`t watch it with her and you`ll enjoy it.
It`s a " thinking " film.
I enjoyed it, although it`s totally and utterly unbelievable !
I thought it was quite good. I don't recall it feeling slow at all.
Most of the film is scientifically accurate/plausibly accurate.
Sicario 2. Solid, not as good as the first, but above average. Looking forward to part 3.
