Thought Gary Oldman was immense

I can see that lots of people like it and I'm probebly in the minority. I'll also except that Oldman was superb but I just didn't enjoy it myself. Certain moments in that film are about as historically accurate as Harry F'N Potter! I understand they have to dramatize it a little for effect but come on!

Just finished watching once upon a time in the west on Blu-ray. Great great movie and a good restoration for the high def format.
I’ll probably be humming that damn harmonica tune for the rest of the evening though.

Yep, both great movies and Jimmy Stewart was superb in both. John Wayne’s character in TMWSLV was cracking too....just a bit darker than roles he’d played before except for his role in The Searchers.
How the west was won and Gunfight at the ok corral are a couple more of my faves.

Adrift - Was expecting The Perfect Storm 2.0, but that's not what I got. Decent/mediocre-ish film. 6/10

Captain America: Civil War - Didn't really like it the first time I saw it and I gave it a crap review. On second watch I liked it a lot better though. A LOT. Actually a very good film. The first time I watched it (in the cinema) the fella sitting next to me was using his phone through most of the film. I guess my annoyance at his phone screen lighting up my face ruined the film for me back then. Proud of myself for not headbutting him though. 9/10

12 Angry Men - Damn, what a masterpiece. Couldn't really find a single flaw with it. Everyone should watch this. Lee J. Cobb was the MVP of the film. 10/10

An American Werewolf in London - Despite it obviously being dated it was a very good watch

It's on tonight on Film 4. Worth watching just for Jenny Agutter.

Oh dear. I remember watching Mamma Mia on holiday in Florida on a rainy day.
We were the only people in the whole cinema and were singing along to every song.
My daughters loved it. They were also impressed with the fact that when you had eaten your popcorn, you could go back and get a refill without paying extra.
