Other than the character assassinations, the unapologetic copying of scenes and dialogue from The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, and regression of characters from The Force Awakens, it is actually quite a depressing watch, with much of the film set on a remote, windswept island.
If you love Star Wars, and particularly Luke Skywalker, do yourself a favour and swerve The Last Jedi.
He also says he loves the last Jedi

Denzil is good in it, but the rest is a bit underwhelming.Watched the first 20 minutes of the equaliser last night with denzel in it, didn't keep my attention
I love Star Wars, and LOVE The Last Jedi, so you are wrong. People, especially the fan boys whose poor little theories, predictions and hopes got dashed just need to get over it really. So you don't like it, so what. doesn't mean there are people that actually like what they have done with Star Wars. Also, there has been no character regression.
I forgive your lack of taste and judgement.

I didn’t go in with any theories. I was just massively disappointed at the awful film we were served up.
Finn goes from a main character in TFA to a bit-part player with a pointless storyline. Regressed. Same with Rey, her time on the island was pointless, she didn’t learn anything and is now confirmed as a Mary Sue.
I forgive your lack of taste and judgement.
