Last Film You Watched

Finally saw 3 Billboards.

Tbh I'm still not sure about it. Frances McDormand is glorious in it, but the story was not as good as the perfomances imo.
It was not about three billboards by any chance was it the plot was as thin as chicken noodle soup great actors wasted the ending fgs ?.......
Thank goodness someone else was disappointed with it promised so much too!

It`s so low budget it`s untrue.

But bear with it, as once it gets going , it`s a genuinely class film.

Personally I`d go for the rampage ?

it can’t be anymore low budget than shooters lol

There's a few aren't they, I just like that scene, the low budget has no effect on the quality of the film, it's a brilliant british revenge movie.

With a genuinely jaw dropping ending, that you never saw coming.

Ended up bidding a fiver for the blu-ray on Ebay after these posts prompted me to check the trailers on Youtube and the threat scene. Won it so will be watching it this week. Could have watched for nowt on YouTube but I'm a bit of a snob and like paying for and owning films. Streaming is for evaluating whether a film makes the shelf.

13 hrs. Secret Soldiers of Benghazi.
I'm a sucker for anything based on a true story so gave it a go. I expected the usual American schmaltz and over dramatisation of the subject, but strangely enough, to me at least, seemed a decent portrayal of what actually happened.
Looking at what film critics said about the film, it seems they thought similar.

A rarity for Michael Bay, in that he doesn`t go full on Captain America and to a certain extent, tells it how it was.

Surprisingly good film.
