Last Film You Watched

There are similarities, but there`s only so much you can do with kids that age.

Both books are coming of age / passage of rite, so it`d be hard to do it any other way.

Hopefully film two will be better, when they`re adults.
Just wasn't scary enough, Pennywise was a joke, the original from the 90's was much more unnerving and creepy, although it hasn't aged well if you watch it now.

The Greatest Showman.

I absolutely loved it, but there is nothing there to appeal to anyone who dislikes musicals.

just searched to see if anyone had mentioned this, cracker wasn't it, and im not the biggest fan of musicals to be honest

loved how it was set in the 1800's and the music was all modern

cant stop listening to the soundtrack, its actually doing my head in haha

Fatal Attraction. Excellent. It also occurred to me that Michael Douglas may have been under-rated by me and perhaps many of you fellow film buffs, but look at his CV, the variety and deepness of his roles, and consistent quality of his films & performances. It compares favourably to your Pitt, Cruise, Willis and the rest. Only Daniel Day-Lewis can compare, I reckon.

Saw The Shape of Water at Odeon's Screen Unseen the other night. Good fun, very quirky and strange, about a mute woman who works as a cleaner for the US Military pre Moon Landing, and falls in love with a fish man. If you enjoy Guilermo del Toro's other films then you'll like this I think, with a hint of Wes Anderson imo.

Saw this the other night, you are not wrong with quirky and strange! I would say it's a good film, doesn't drag, but to have that many oscar nominations just makes me think it must have been a bad year for films.
