There are similarities, but there`s only so much you can do with kids that age.

Both books are coming of age / passage of rite, so it`d be hard to do it any other way.

Hopefully film two will be better, when they`re adults.

The Open House on netflix. The actual worst movie i have ever watched, it had no ending at all. Giving this movie a 1/10 is being far too generous.

The Prime Of Miss Jean Brodie !

Last night, not bad to be fair !

Brit drama dealing with honour killings within Yorkshire's Pakistani community. The film uses a number of non actors, is technically solid and has some very powerful set pieces adding punch to a tense and unsettling story. Good film but not for the faint hearted.



Curate's egg this one, dark comedy about a post Vietnam army project to recover mentally scarred vets from their various psychoses. A genuine philosophical oddity of a film. Baffling but I enjoyed it.



I'm not one to knock Gervais, he often makes I laugh but this is terrible. Staggeringly unfunny vanity project amplifying the least enjoyable elements of the office. I'd call it a bad film, but it's barely a film. Dreadful.

The Terminal with Tom Hanks. What a horrible film with a Razzie-deserving turn from Hanks. I was amazed at the end credits when it said "directed by Steven Spielberg", it felt like it was directed by an unthinking student's lazy schmaltzily-offensive idea of a Spielberg film.

Watch it similar to watching the blues now- no not that bad , but bad other posters agree bar a few !
If you like Billboards it's for you lol
I could not fault the actors/acting etcbut the plot is pure cornbeef imo!

The massive ratings it got was the let down for me, acting great plot bah humbug - but it's down to taste to me it had loads of potential Coen brothers style-which imo failed miserably!
