Lap of appreciation

Until they win something, I no longer stay for these things. I stopped going after Martinez' first season. Hopefully I'll be there at the end of next season.

I know it's for the players to appreciate the support, etc, but when two of them are trying to mug the club off, it just makes a bit of a mockery of it.

End of first season report, could have done better, but also could have done a hell of a lot worse! We gave Roberto three seasons, the first of which was remarkable, the second and thrid of which were woeful. I am hoping for a reverse of that trend, with this season laying the foundations for a good run at trophies next season, leading to a genuine challenging side in the third season? If i dont get that i will be looking for his knackers on a platter same as I was with Bobby!

I tend not to stay, but that is more down to my bladder weakness and my steadfast refusal to use those travesties of bogs at the ground! So i will continue to cross my legs and grit my teeth each matchday until i can visit the 'boutique' style bogs at the new ground.

I won't be staying... because it's a Friday night, and I wanna go for a bev.

Only Everton could make this game be on a Friday!

Likewise, however they tend to head toward the Park End first dont they then loop around towards the Gladwys? Being in the Park End I might hang on a few mins then dart once they've been past.

I will have my super zoom camera closeley inspecting every single player, if I see so much of a 'meh' look on a players face I can only assume they want out.

It hasn't been a bad season overall. We bottled both cup competitions which was a shame because they are something we should be putting more energy into. Home form has been superb, bit of a slow start in my opinion with Koeman not sure on his best eleven for the first few months but eventually got there and I think we agree with his team selections. Football has been good to watch at home but on the road it has been disappointing. I thought after overturning WBA and thrashing Sunderland away that it would be a good season away from home but that Chelsea thrashing in November set the bar for more poor displays. We were unlucky at Old Trafford and felt we deserved the points, if we look at the games like Bournemouth away, Hull away, Watford away, we could have been sitting in a champions league spot now.

See what the players are like tonight, nothing for them to play for so will probably be like watching paint dry. Give Lookman a go from the start and DCL one last game to prove himself. Schneiderlin will be back tonight I assume so kind of expecting a clean sheet for us and a dire performance from Watford.

Lookman and DCL are away with the England under 20's.

A minute's applause for some cause or another. Followed by a lap of honour for winning nowt. An imploration to the gods when one of the planks blazes a free kick into the stratosphere. This game will have it all folks. With the added delight of it being a late change in dates to mess up people's travel plans.

Bah humbug!

C'mon the 2017/18 season.

Rom will offer his boots and shirt to the fans.
Say his goodbyes and then make for the exit never to be seen at goodison in an Everton shirt again.

Ross... who knows. I'm not even sure he knows what he is doing to be fair.

I don't think he will have much choice. Sounds like a take it or leave it offer has been made with a deadline. If the contract is not signed it will be withdrawn. If that happens, not convinced that someone is gonna offer us anywhere near £35M for him with just a year left - big prices usually come from bidding wars - are there that many clubs he would want to go to that actually want him and would pay that for him? I fear for the lad, if he doesn't sign and no-one comes in for him at a price we want, he could be looking at a whole season on the bench or worse if we get our targets in - and it is World Cup year, so he'll need to be playing regularly to get near the squad for Russia.

I don't have a problem with it, I kind of see it as a time for the players to thank the fans for their support, as well as a chance for us to show our appreciation
