Seems to me more likely that he'll play right wing. Cahill's been shoved out there, Gosling isn't ready for that position yet, we need to keep Pienaar in the middle, and the rest of the players that can play there are still out here for a while. I'll imagine he'll be here long enough to cover til Arteta etc are back and fit then he can go off back to the MLS. Don't think we'll see him here long term. Win win situation alround, he keeps fit and looks good for the world cup, we get cover for injuries.

I really don't see what the problem is to be honest.
Another player for 3 months or so, excellent. Whether he settles in well or not, he gives Moyes options.

It was just a little jibe about your posting style, no offence intended at all.
About Donovan, I would imagine it is simply nothing more than a bright idea by someone at Everton. Moyes has made no secret of the fact that he wants to fill out the squad in January. Donovan is one of the few players who have the potential to be good enough for Everton but are also available on a loan deal. Clearly Beckham's stint at AC Milan has set a promising precedent as well, you would expect the terms to be fairly similar.

As the newcomer here, I understand if people are naturally - ummm - "reserved" about who the new guy is. It's human nature. I want no special treatment here or in my everyday life.
Over time...over time, everyone will be able to formulate a better opinion of me. They might still dislike me - who knows?
