Hopefully the reason Frank Lampard’s sacking hasn’t been announced is because the Board have also been sacked and there is no one left to announce it. A more likely explanation is that none of the present Board has the brass neck to come out and announce his sacking because they know that they are more responsible for the mess the club is in than he was.
