Name one srtiker under Moyes that scored more than 20 in one season. 15 in one season. When Yakubu came he was a 20+ striker as was beatie and Johnson

Yakubu scored 20 goals in his first season then the injury happened.

The rest of our strikers under Moyes did alright. It's a complete myth to say he 'ruined' them.

it's not really. they all went downhill after the first season. i'll accept yakubu's was down to injury, but none of the rest.

I don't think a single striker that moyes bought left our club a better player than when he arrived

was about to say anichebe is arguably the only one.

he did great with bent it must be said and beckford did probably better than expected, but never had the second season to prove himself.

What we were essentially trying to do was get a 20 goal a season striker for around £6m. That's a hard task in anyone's eyes.

If you look at the stats, Beattie was our top scorer in 05/06, Saha recorded his second best goal return in England with us and Johnson was a decent stop gap at the time before we moved onto better things.

don't think we were every expecting any of them to get 20 tbh.
