Lacina Traore

We've really had no luck at all with strikers this year.

I mean seriously - Liverpool have Suarez and Sturridge in the form of their lives, scoring every week.

What do we have:

Kone £6m signing, plays a handful of games, out for most of the season.
Lukaku on loan, great start but not scored since November 30th, out injured for a month.
Traore on loan - takes 3 weeks to get fit, plays one game, gets injured in the warm up of his 2nd game and is out for weeks.
Hell, even Conor McAleny broke his leg whilst out on loan earlier in the season.

By anyone's stretch of the imagination, this is unbelievable bad luck.

Yes it is! However for a player to suffer Hamstring injuries in both legs this does not bode well for his future. I stated earlier in this thread that I was not convinced he would be a good signing, I do hope Roberto is not thinking of a permanent move.

We played Lukaku into the ground, hence his loss of form. The Kone signing at that price given his age has always been questionable, and to sign an injured striker on loan when you're desperate for reinforcements in that area is ludicrous to me.

I think we've managed the situation poorly in all honesty.

People will not like it but for me Bobby got it all wrong with this lad. Traore was never match fit for the spurs game never mind thind the swansea game. Bobby played unfit players in the derby match becuase he was desperate which i can understand in terms of the risk but it alll backfired. He applogized and then went and done the same thing with Traore in the Swansea game and the spurs game and the lad got injured in a WARM UP !. The lad Traore had just days in his legs from FF training he should never have been near the team for either games but then he had made a massive cock up in the transfer window.

Bobby has paid a big price for what went on in jan and he has yet to appologize for that and to me has not learnt his lesson from the derby agme with respect to playing injured or unfit players.

It´s his other leg .How can that be foreseen He´s got nothing to appologize for,he´s a manager risk is part of the job.
