This qoute from the BBC really sums up what Spurs/Harry Shithouse is all about:

"Spurs boss Harry Redknapp has drafted in the duo, despite having full-backs Benoit Assou-Ekotto, Gareth Bale, Pascal Chimbonda, Vedran Corluka, Alan Hutton and Gilberto already at the club. "

- and Kyle Naughton as well really.

Say goodbye to your careers kyles
Nah, they will get loaned out to championship teams for experience for a few years and then they will get sold since they haven't performed well for Spurs, and then they might go to some premierleague team in the bottom and fight for survival or back to the Championship.

What I can't understand when a player talks to two or more clubs about a possible transfer... is that they don't check the competition for their spot! Naughton must have gotten some pretty promise that he will play much otherwise why would he risk his career and become a benchplayer for a team that have alot of RB's already?

We only have Hibbert really since Neville is the DM. But our problem is that Hibberts name seems preprinted on the teamsheet with Moyes.

Walker will return to Bramall Lane on loan as part of the deal with Spurs, and the Blades will also be able to take Tottenham players on loan.

Sheffield United boss Kevin Blackwell said: "Having Walker available is a very important part of our strategy and it's exciting to have the chance to talk with Tottenham and judge whether any other of their players might fit into our squad.

"If we think that someone could help us we could take them on a short-term loan throughout August and, if required, extend it to a season-long arrangement after that."

Proper got a sowed up deal out of that didnt they the arle Sheff Utd. No wonder we didnt have a chance.

They made their beds.

Now they're gonna sleep in them.

I can't believe that Spurs are a more attractive option than we are at this point.

So be it.

I'm close to flying home now to belt Harry and his ponch of a son whilst I'm at it...

This is absolute bollocks, we all complain when we don't hear about Moyes chasing any transfers through - this is exactly why we're left in the dark until they're completed...

We'll still finish higher than Spurs, this season and for the length of these guys careers.

Agents will always send their player to the club that's paying a higher transfer fee. Fact. Plus I can't believe too many agents like sending their players to us given that we rarely sell players. Plus knowing the way Spurs throw money around I wouldn't be suprised if he's going to be making more than Jags does.

Given that Harry usually seems to favor vets over young players, I'm not sure if this is the best move for him. Naughton would have defo got about 30 appearences for us.

There will have been promises made and be backed up by millions. Something we just can not do.

We speculated a week back as to whether the boys would be motivated by their careers or money.

I think we know the answer.

Anyone else that can see SU buy back Walker next summer for a nominal fee unless he turns into the best RB in the championship?:dodgy:
