I'm gonna stay positive about this one... Based on what I've read, he is quite a talent and would have been a soon if not immediate upgrade at RB. But I am hoping that maybe we lost out on him because Moyes was interested at the price agreed but refused to be extorted by SU because he likes what he as seen from Coleman. One can hope, can't they?

A slight twist here to the thread, but

I hope Harry wants him.......

£5m for Kyle Walker. Can't get over that. Most ridiculous, pathetic signing in football history. Even if he goes on to be a really good player - theres absolutely no justification in paying £5m for a 19-year-old who has played twice in the Championship.

That signing epitomises everything that is wrong with football. A transfer cap may seem far-fetched, but something has to be done.

I sometimes really wonder, why I can even be bothered with football. The whole industry that football has become, is sick to the bone.

Ditto.

I've been feeling these things for a bit, modern fusbal absolutely stinks. Theyre trying their best to isolate the game away from the working class and the real power wielders within the game are bad, bad teds. Aswell as some of the players being the definition of false idols.

Still, I love Everton, so who the f am I kidding.

Interesting read of the success of the young Spurs players.

As for Naughton, higher wages may talk but at Everton he would have really come good and would soon be on INTl duty when you have the likes of Jags, Lescott and Baines there with you.

It's Naughton's loss.

Think he's gone guys, can we lock this one and throw the key away at least until the Winter window. Then we can ressurect it in all its glory and pontificate about how at Spurs he's managed a couple of Carling Cup games when he could have been a regular first teamer for us and in the frame for the WC.

Done, gone, siornara, ciao

My mate was with Naughton on Sunday and he's already getting fed up at not having a Prem game yet.

Already, 4 games in!?

Any idiot knows Harry doesn't start younguns. You think he would have asked oh I don't know, DosSantos, Bale, Nugent and 1000 other young players that he buries on the bench.

But hey at least you could afford a slightly nicer set of wheels and cruise around town w. Bentley.
