I think what ever happen? We should see the outcome by the end of today, I still doubt there is any truth with the recent article, not saying it couldn't happen.

But I still believe we would get our player, I just don't know why anyone want to play for Spurs, they are just a upgrade version of Newcastle, watch them unable to recover and finish in the Top 10 in the coming season.
