Well it looks like both Kyles are off to Spurs. Fcking seething about it myself. We have, probably rightly, been made to look like a right bunch of incompetent assholes.

Well, at least this is different piece of news from there fans, let's hope this is true and we did sign our man soon, although I want to sign Walker as well.

We occasionally have long drawn out transfers. As do every other club.

The 'Naughton Deal Hope' headline has disappeared from the OS. Think he's Spurs bound. Shame, I had a really good feeling about him.

The way I see it is....clubs like Spurs etc will always out trump Everton due to the fact they can add that extra deal breaker.

Everton has to keep within its budget and pushing over that budget by that extra million etc is hard for us to do it seems. So much so Spurs etc can always add that extra £1million.

We offer £6million, they offer £7million etc etc. The press dont make it easy for teams like us, and for this season Man Utd also. The minute it gets leaked that an honest story about a club is sealing a deal for a player, another club will jump in and offer something better - eg Man Utd with Real Madrid. Everton with practically everyone else.

Which is way IMO Fergie and Moyes have just turned around and said we're either not buying anymore or we're looking at "squad" players.

Anyway, Naughton's just left the footballing radar altogether at Spurs. Good choice lad.

Noticed that. Nothing from any major sports page. Still think he's Spurs bound.

F-Me I hope we sign an absolute monster of a player that's going to just destroy everything and make me feel better about missing out of players.

I just can't believe Kenwright didn't have Naughton abducted, tied up and bought to Goodison and forced to sign a contract with us at gunpoint in 3 hours after lunch on Monday.
