Still silence eh, i am more confident with nothing happening, shows the lad is thinking over things carefully meaning we have more of a chance then the press gave us yesterday.

Still confident about this one, its a no brainer Kyle.

The lads got to know Spurs' manager as we all knows seems to move around alot, so god knows how much longer he would be at Spurs.

If Sheffield United accepted another bid why don't they just say so? And why is Everton OS won't say nothing? I don't care if it is bad news, I just want to know what's going on.
 
I think the big "problem" is that we only want Naughton, while Spurs want to sign them both for a larger fee with the younger Kyle being lent back to SU for the coming season. So out of the short perspective of SU they get more money while only loosing one player the coming season.

All in all the deal offered by Spurs is a clever one actually.

But it can't be THAT immoral, if there's a central body set up to deals with the HUGE number of cases of it happening. What do they expect Everton to do, sit on the top of a moral mountain while all their rivals snap up top talent?

It's one thing if Everton were the only club doing this, but literally everybody is. How can doing what you have to do to survive possibly be immoral?
 

if the lad wants to play for the 5th best team in the prem with european campainge to look forward to and a realistic chance of a cup then he will sign for us if he wants to just play for a random outfit for a few quid more??? then spurs are welcome to him for my money,i want ambitious young footballers not mony mad young lads

Is there a difference in some being understanding about Lescott signing for City to double his wages and this lad signing possibly signing for Spurs for possibly a greater wage then we may offer.

Same thing if you ask me.
 
If this isn't resolved by Thursday, Everton should withdraw their bid.

The only reason I can see staying involved is Naughton wants to play for Everton but SUFC is chasing the bigger $$$ from Spurs.

Can't we throw in Hibbert as makeweight?
