....he had a disaster of a game, very rash and awkward at times. He didn’t cause chaos for us, though, and CB s are all about having the right partnership.

I have concerns about Keane/Mina pairing because once the opposition get beyond them I fear they are out of the game. If we don’t have Zouma, we need a Zouma type.

Mina looks noticeably more agile than last year - it’s not as big of a concern I don’t think.

Not sure why people are judging him off his games for Chelsea?

He played well for us. That's all that concerns me. Would be happy for him to come back but it was always going to be hard with the transfer ban.

The last one Zouma was lying in the opposition's penalty area for the duration of the counter attack.

A very poor game, but I’d take him in the January window if he’s going cheap, only 24 so a couple of years off his peak. Chelsea unlikely to sell though.

One of those things. He lost his balance and grabbed the the striker as he was falling. With VAR, I reckon we'll see loads of these given this season.

I didn't think he looked any worse than the rest of their back line. As mentioned, lampard seemed to be going for the Roberto Martinez suicidal offside trap, leaving acres of space behind the defence.

still have him back in a flash in jan if the price was right,. don't forget he didn't start amazing for us either he grew into the role

Sometimes it about perception; we perceive him to be a decent player. I'm sure Lampard kept him kn the strength of his season with us.
Sometimes its all down to if your face fits at a Club, his does with us...atm, less so with Chelsea

Lampard kept him cos they lacking experienced CBs. Then Luiz jumped ship.

He was a main option cos he knows how we play and did well on loan, would fit in straight away.

But for me it was always going to be down to price because anything above £30mill then we're overpaying and could find an equivalent elsewhere.
