My bad he's the young winger isn't he? I quite like Genk and Gent. Not a bad friendly as they're the sort of EL level opposition we'll face.

Yep a quick skill-full winger could have gone to Celta de Vigo or Schalke 04; but is staying for an extra season.

Gent is making the transition to become a stable top club. Their budget is almost on par with RSCA and Brugge since they've build their new stadium and youth academy. They are also possibly looking at another 13 mil € transfer Moses Simon to Brighton. Why they would contemplate buying him is beyond me, he's either injured or returning from injury.

The team he plays in the Europa game might not be his preferred starting lineup though, im not saying he will play a 2nd string nor take the Slovak fellas lightly, but this season will very much a squad game.

I think it will be for most of the year, however, I think considering the importance of getting off on the right foot, and no league fixtures to deal with, he will run out his preferred 1st team, his ideal lineup.
