So I'm not too bad with languages but welsh isn't one that I'm familiar with.

The welsh that King Chaz was speaking today didn't sound very fluent to me but as I say I don't know. Can any of our welsh speakers on here provide some feedback:

It was pretty dire, particularly considering he has apparently been “immersing himself in all things Welsh”, since his appointment as PoW.

I can't speak welsh at all but I know when people are speaking a language fluently. Thanks for clarifying. You're from Wales ?

He wasn't fluent; he was clearly reading the speech, but it was perfectly understandable. Obviously, nobody would assume he was a native speaker, but fair play to him for using the language.

He clearly wasn’t fluent, that’s very kind. His pronunciation was woefully robotic so as to be year 1 learner.

As someone who studied Welsh in Aberystwyth Uni for 10 weeks prior to his investiture, so he could communicate in Welsh, he’s clearly forgotten it.

Not been doing much Prince of Wales stuff since the 69 fraud obviously, otherwise he would be fluent.

He’s flogging a carefully crafted PR message to protect his family business. ‘Koff Charles.
